Set in a near-future society based on the global dynamics of Northern and Southern Europe, The Last Man is a power struggle between Winter and Douglas. Winter, the heir to a powerful Northern agro-industrial dynasty invites Douglas, a gifted recruit from the South, to a spa retreat, where they parley the terms of their arrangement.
